Craig Northey is set to release ‘Northey / Valenzuela’ a collaboration between him and Jesse Valenzuela of Gin Blossoms fame. The ever-present Sharkskin back them up on this CD, we’re playing in Phoenix, Arizona on November 11/12 and hope to do more dates soon.

Spent the past week tracking with Sharkskin & Jesse Valenzuela (Gin Blossoms). This is an independent project of material co-written by Craig Northey and Jesse. Great songs from fine writers, and a wonderful week recording at Baker Street Studios.

Fuelled by timbits (our southern brother insisted…) we blasted through the tunes - Jesse & Craig now get to polish the vocals in the privacy of their home studios and come up with a name for the project. Current contenders are ‘What was I thinking?’; ‘The Timsmen’; and ‘A Nation falls on bended Knee’ (?) Look for a release in early 2003.
